Ready to shape the future of marine electrification? Join our team in Vaasa (preferred) or Tampere as Technical Product Owner and lead the development of advanced software for Danfoss' next generation of high‑performance marine drives and power conversion systems (Danfoss iC7).
By keeping the roadmap clear and the team focused, you ensure we deliver world‑class technology for the next generation of marine systems. Your work will help enable cleaner, smarter, and more energy‑efficient vessels across the global maritime industry.
What You'll Be Doing
- Owning and prioritizing the software product backlog
- Working in an Agile environment, leading sprint planning, backlog refinement, and continuous improvement
- Translating customer and market needs into actionable software requirements
- Maintaining an overview of the development roadmap and preparing long‑term sprint plans
- Acting as functional leader for the software development team in Finland
- Collaborating with stakeholders to align technical direction and product capabilities
- Supporting sales and application teams by explaining system functionalities and use cases
What We're Looking For
- Academic degree in Computer Science, Power Electronics, Automation, or similar field
- Understanding of electrical systems (ideally power electronics, inverters, and hybrid‑electric applications)
- Experience with software development environments, e.g. C/C++, PLC programming, Matlab/Simulink
- Experience from the Marine industry and familiarity with marine automation, propulsion, or power & energy management is an advantage
- Strong problem‑solving, planning, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in multicultural, virtual teams
- Excellent English language skills, Finnish is a plus
