We are searching for a highly driven and energetic real estate professional to be the Asset Manager at Cavendo. Cavendo has been growing rapidly and is looking to continue its expansion. As Cavendo manages its investments locally, we are now searching for a hands-on Asset Manager with an exquisite commercial mindset and excellent tenant relationship skills in the Helsinki properties – Kluuvi and Arkadia.

While having an overall responsibility of the commercial management of the assets of Arkadia and Kluuvi, you additionally have a vision of how to cultivate them to be increasingly desired environments. Kluuvi is a mixed-use property of 19,000 sqm comprising of offices, retail and restaurants. Kluuvi has 4 million visitors per year and is located on Helsinki’s most well-known pedestrianized shopping streets. Arkadia is an 11,000 sqm prominent office building in central Helsinki housing several renowned companies and organizations.

As the Asset Manager, you will be responsible for implementation of the business plan, asset budgets and financial reporting. With your excellent co-operational skills, you will supervise and coordinate external service providers. In more detailed, your main duties will include the following:

• Establishing strong landlord/tenant relationships and renegotiating existing leases
• Instructing and leading external leasing agents and initiating new establishments in retail, offices and public tenants
• Being responsible for the full rental process
• Independently produce calculations and decision-making material in connection with leasing
• Leading external consultants such as architects and construction project managers
• Supervising and instructing 3rd party technical managers, as well as project managers in relation to CAPEX-projects in the asset
• Supervising and instructing 3rd party financial management including service charges, rent arrears, budgets and actual outcome etc.
• Being responsible for commercial reporting to investors, and take part in and arrange investor meetings

As a knowledge-based company, Cavendo’s largest asset lies in their people. We expect you to have developed a good understanding of the retail and office markets and a commercial mindset towards property development. An understanding of lease law and valuation would be seen as advantage. You will be working alongside with the team in Helsinki with support from the team in Stockholm. To succeed in the role, you need excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to lead external teams of service providers. As a person you are ambitious, humble, and full of energy. In addition to speaking Finnish, you are also fluent in both written and spoken English.
