Business Development Manager

About the role
We are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to take a leading role in shaping our Private Nordic Product & Price organization and offering including all business lines (Motor, Property, Personal) but with a stronger focus on Personal Insurance as Lead for our Nordic Personal Insurance Matrix. In addition to working with the Country Product teams in Finland, Sweden, Norway, and Denmark, you will also work with several stakeholders, including marketing, sales, digital, claims, partnerships and many more proactively shaping your role and network to drive projects and share critical knowledge. If has identified Personal Insurances as an area with significant growth potential, and you will play a critical role in turning this potential into reality.
Main responsibilities
- Help steer selected focus areas and initiatives identified in the Nordic Product Strategy
- Independently identify and drive initiatives across business lines related to customer value, business growth, and efficiency
- Support in driving the shared Nordic Product & Price and BA Private agenda, including conducting research and projects on identified opportunities for growth and/or efficiency
- Contribute to developing our offering, processes, and ways of working
- Drive & facilitate the development of personal insurance on a Nordic level as Matrix Lead
- Provide a customer- and market overview on topics affecting personal insurance, e.g. consumer trends, health tech advancements, new legislation and more - ultimately becoming a trusted expert within your network

About the team
The Nordic Business Development team within Product & Price, currently consists of three Business Developers who work with developing our offering and business, supporting the Business Area Private ambitions of excellent risk understanding, outstanding customer experiences, improved digital solutions, and an active contribution to a more sustainable society. We also work closely with country specific Business Development teams.
Who are you?
We are looking for a strategic and visionary person, who has several years of experience in management consulting or business development. You are interested in staying up to date with trends and customer behavior. You value working both independently and as part of a team, but always with a team-player attitude. You also have a strong drive and can achieve results in a complex organizational set-up.
To succeed in this role, you:
- Are customer oriented with the ability to translate current and future needs into business implications and requirements
- Can independently drive strategically significant projects with several stakeholders and competing priorities
- Have a strategic mindset and analytical approach turning messy areas into structured concepts, high-level frameworks, and concrete actions
- Thrive with ambiguity and have high motivation for shaping your own role in a broad stakeholder network
- Have a structured and result-oriented way of working with a track record of producing high quality work
- Experience within management consulting is a strong advantage
- Experience within the insurance business or working with personal insurances is a bonus but not a requirement
- In addition to being fluent in one of the Nordic languages, very good English skills (written and oral) are required
