Chief Engineer, Process

Are you the professional for key position in our dynamic engineering team?

We are looking for a Project Manager with outstanding co-operation skills to our Process and Piping Engineering Department in Energy Business Unit. 

Our department is responsible for a Boiler plant's piping definition and process engineering, both in sales and delivery projects. Our team provides piping and process solutions for Boiler plants in close cooperation with the customer.
 

As Chief Engineer, you will work on sales, delivery and development projects. You will be a leading expert to develop and maintain product libraries in piping and process engineering and support other engineering disciplines. You will work closely with customers, suppliers and other Valmet experts.

Your tasks will include:

-       Developing and maintaining business processes in COMOS application.

-       Developing and supporting conceptual engineering for Boiler plants.

-       Executing and supporting engineering on sales and execution projects.

-       Integrations development and support

-       Working in expert network: Supporting end users and key users

-       COMOS key-user coordination

-       BIM Process engineering coordination

-       BIM mechanical coordination

Expectations:

To be successful in this position, you need to be able to handle product management development projects and work smoothly but convincingly with different stakeholders. You are eager and determined process developer and you are also capable of accurate work on a detailed level.

We also except you to have a suitable education (M.Sc. or B.Sc.) and adequate knowledge of boiler plant processes. We appreciate knowledge of the process equipment like pumps and valves. This is a senior position requiring minimum of five to ten years' experience with COMOS application and other plant engineering tools like PDMS or E3D.
