The Eaton Summer Trainee campaign has kicked off and we are again hiring new colleagues for Summer 2026! Your role
We are looking for a summer trainee to work as a part of CI (Continuous Improvement) organization / Sustaining standard utilization in lean tools and participating in project coordination in summer vacation period. The assignment is allocated for 4 - 5 months during 4.5.- 30.9.2026 (can be negotiated separately based on your preference). The project assignment takes about half of your worktime. Other assignments will be related to small-scale CI projects or support for the on-going initiatives. We offer the possibility to work with highly skilled professionals and learn from them. There might be an option to continue working with Eaton, a project or with a university level thesis in 2026 depending on the actual business situation.

What we look for
We search for a summer trainee to match with the role description requirements. Preferably you currently study in Industrial Engineering or other technical studies. You are interested of Continuous Improvement, Lean methods and Learning in Industrial environment. You are great team player and able to work independently. Your soft skills, clear and concise written and oral communication in English is needed. Knowhow and experience of the Microsoft Office 365 applications, creating digital experience and interfaces would be an advantage.
