Commissioning engineer - Automated forklift systems

Are you a skilled and enthusiastic Commissioning Engineer with a passion for industrial automation systems and working with people? We are currently seeking a new colleague for Mitsubishi Logisnext Europe Oy in the role of a Commissioning Engineer for AGV forklifts (Automated Guided Vehicle) systems.

As a Commissioning Engineer, you will work as part of the Logistic Solutions organization, responsible for the complete commissioning of new AGV systems projects. You will prepare the commissioning’s at the office, carry out commissioning activities at customer sites worldwide, and diligently finalize customer projects. Your work will be based at our facility in Järvenpää, with travel to customer sites worldwide amounting to approximately 100-200 days per year. Between travel days, you will work in hybrid model, remotely and at our Järvenpää office.

Your tasks will also include documentation, layout creation, and other preparatory office duties related to commissioning. You will ensure successful system commissioning at customer sites, including tasks such as software verification, layout operation checks, setting up navigation environments, and providing customer training on product operation. You may also find yourself with a wrench in hand at customer sites.

Central to your role is close collaboration with various stakeholders to ensure successful project execution. Therefore, you will need to be responsive and maintain a sense of humour along the way! Stakeholders include customers, internal project teams, and design teams.

In your new role, you can start before or after the summer holidays, depending on the agreement.

Our new Commissioning Engineer is a self-directed individual with a can-do attitude and excellent interpersonal skills, capable of managing evolving situations. You enjoy taking charge and working with people.

We expect you to have fluent English skills as the primary working language with customers. Good IT skills and a relevant higher education degree (B.Sc or M.Sc in automation engineering or equivalent) are required.

Desirable qualifications include previous experience in commissioning automated systems, proficiency in Finnish or other languages, and familiarity with industrial automation, PLC programming, CAD tools, and mechanical / electrical modifications.
