We are seeking a skilled Construction Site QA/QC Engineer to Kouvola, Finland to ensure that all construction activities meet defined quality standards, project specifications, and Finnish regulatory requirements. You will play a key role in maintaining high-quality execution across all data center project phases, working closely with site management, subcontractors, and clients.
Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement site-specific Quality Assurance / Quality Control (QA/QC) plans

Monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with project specifications, drawings and other applicable standards

Conduct inspections and witness tests for civil, structural, and architectural activities
-
Ensure compliance with Finnish building regulations, standards (e.g.RT, RYL), and safety requirements

Coordinate closely with construction, engineering, commissioning, and client teams
-
Manage non-conformance reports (NCRs) and corrective/preventive actions
-
Maintain accurate QA/QC documentation, reports, and inspection records

Participate in site meetings and provide quality-related updates

Support handover processes, including documentation and final inspections

Participate in site meetings and quality-related reviews
What we expect from you

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field

Minimum 3–5 years experience in construction quality assurance/control

Strong understanding of Finnish construction standards and quality requirements

Experience with inspection procedures, documentation, and audits

Familiarity with international standards and codes (e.g., ISO 9001, ASTM, ACI, AISC, BS, EN)

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

Analytical and problem-solving mindset

Ability to identify risks and implement corrective actions

Good communication and stakeholder coordination skills

Ability to work independently on a construction site

Fluency in Finnish and English
