Hakuaika alkaa: 11.12.2023
Hakuaika päättyy: 03.01.2024

Would you like to do high-class end-to-end data science and software development for K Group's retail business? Would you like to work in a fantastic team? Join our software development oriented data science team to change the way people experience shopping.

People in K Group are working hard on utilizing our unique data to create the best customer experience in retail. We in the K AI team build and maintain artificial intelligent solutions to help and inspire our customers in their day-to-day needs. That is not an easy task: our daily job includes handling large amounts of data (think about the data from our loyalty system Plussa alone), applying machine learning models, writing production-grade software in Python, and improving our AWS environment. We follow standard software development practices, such as version control, continuous integration, and test automation to make development and maintenance easier.

We have a fun and talented team building AI solutions. During the last 12 months, our team has built personalized product and recipe recommendations to help our customers achieve their well-being goals and improved our assortment recommendation algorithm. However, there are many more meaningful and exciting projects than we can handle. Therefore, we are looking for a new teammate. If you have a background in data science or software development and are eager to blend these skills, we'd love to hear from you. Speaking Finnish is an advantage but not mandatory. Most importantly, you share our passion for continuous learning, teamwork, and creating production-grade AI solutions.

We like to work together, and you often find many K AI developers in our new and shiny headquarters in Kalasatama, Helsinki. We also have a positive attitude towards remote work in our team, but some tasks require presence, so you should be able to work regularly on-site as well.

If you are interested in joining our team, send your application with a salary request and CV via the attached link by 3.1.2024. For any inquiries, you can contact Chief Data Scientist of the K AI team, Niilo Latva-Pukkila. He is available to address your questions via phone (+358 46 8102109) or email ([email protected]). Niilo has specifically set aside the following dates and times for phone calls:

  • Thursday 14th of December from 13:00 to 14:00
  • Thursday 21st of December from 12:00 to 13:00

Please note that Niilo will be on holiday from 22.12.2023 to 1.1.2024. In line with our commitment to work-life balance, he will not be reading emails or answering calls during this period.

Applicants are required to take a drug test before an employment relationship can be established.
