Design Engineer, Plant Engineering (temporary)

Are you the professional or a beginner in your career? We are looking for Design Engineer, Plant Engineering for a two-year fixed term position at Heat and Power Engineering Department in the Energy Business Unit.

In Valmet's Heat and Power Plants Technology unit we develop, sell and deliver products to Heat and Power customers mainly in Scandinavia and Central Europe. Our department is responsible for a Boiler plant's mechanical and process engineering, both in sales and delivery projects.

As Design Engineer, you will work on sales, delivery and development projects. You will work closely with customers, suppliers and other Valmet experts.

Your main tasks include:

• Execute layout, piping or ducting engineering on sales and execution projects.
• Developing and maintaining engineering processes in AVEVA E3D application.
• Developing and maintaining project engineering progress reporting.
• Working in expert network: Support end users and key users in utilizing the possibilities of our integrated engineering systems.

You will have the opportunity to actively participate in diverse and challenging tasks, both independently and as a member of a project team and aligned with your abilities. This is a two-year temporary position.

Requirements

To be successful in this position, you will be able to handle product management development projects, work smoothly and convincing with different stakeholders, be eager and determined process developer and be also capable of accurate work at a detailed level.

We also except you to have a suitable education, M.Sc. or B.Sc. degree and adequate knowledge of boiler or other industrial plant processes. Knowledge about PDMS/E3D application is an advantage. Fluent English skills are a requirement, both written and spoken (Finnish and other languages are a benefit).
