FPGA Designer
Responsibilities

Design, develop and implement FPGA-based hardware solutions for industrial applications

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including embedded software and electronics design experts

Translate customer requirements into robust and efficient FPGA architectures

Develop VHDL code, simulation environments, and verification testbenches
-
Participate in schematic design and hardware validation
-
Contribute to continuous improvement of design practices and development processes
-
Provide technical support during prototyping, testing, and deployment phases

Document your designs and share knowledge with your teams
Skills & Requirements
-
A degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field
-
Proven experience in FPGA development, including VHDL programming
-
Knowledge of FPGA simulation, synthesis, and timing analysis tools

Experience with hardware debugging, validation, and prototyping

Strong problem-solving skills and analytical thinking
-
Good collaboration and communication skills in English

Familiarity with embedded systems and hardware/software co-design is a plus

Curiosity to continuously learn and develop your skills

This role is permanent, full-time role and located in Tampere. The position requires eligibility to pass a basic security clearance.
Our recruitment process includes one or two interviews, during which we discuss both technical and work personality-related topics. In some cases, we also use small technical assignments. The interviews are usually conducted via Teams and take approximately 1,5 hours.
