The GenAI Lighthouse team within KTI consists of innovators and problem solvers committed to empowering KONE with the capabilities of GenAI.

We work together on daily basis in KTI among IT, R&D and Innovations team.We collaborate closely with KONE's business teams to identify and address their needs, utilizing GenAI to develop solutions that are both pioneering and practical. Our objective is to drive innovation and efficiency, thereby enabling KONE to maintain its leadership position in the industry.

We are now looking for a

Senior GenAI Strategic Designer

to join the KONE GenAI Lighthouse Team, a pioneering group dedicated to leading the way with GenAI at KONE.

As a KONE Senior GenAI Strategic Designer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of urban mobility by leveraging Generative AI technologies. You will be part of our GenAI Lighthouse Team, tasked with identifying, evaluating, and implementing cutting-edge AI solutions to enhance our products and services.

The position is based in Espoo, Finland and you will report to Lulu Zhang, Head of Technology and Services, KONE.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Explore the GenAI potential in reshaping urban mobility and crafting the future with the KONE GenAI Lighthouse Team.
• Delving into GenAI use cases, analyze the business value, viability, and desirability, to align with strategic and sustainable visions.
• Participating in building Proof of Concepts demonstrating the tangible impact of GenAI solutions in the real world.
• Designing intuitive workflows, ensuring that GenAI solutions are seamlessly integrated into daily tasks, enhancing both user experience and business context.
• Advising on user experience and maximizing value from GenAI solutions, ensuring every piece of advice adheres to the highest standards of quality and innovation.
• Work alongside cross-functional teams like R&D, IT, Business, and Operations, to bring cohesive GenAI initiatives to life.

Qualification: 

• A university degree in a relevant field, backed by 3+ years of experience in strategic design, where your work with data analysis and emerging technologies stands out.
• A history of leading innovation projects from the ground up, marked by your ability to spot and nurture viable business opportunities and technological integrations.
• An exceptional ability to communicate and collaborate, thriving in multicultural settings and excelling in both face-to-face and remote interactions.
• Proficiency in English, not just as a language skill but as a tool for facilitating workshops and fostering a collaborative work environment, with a readiness to engage in periodic in-office teamwork.
• A readiness to travel for user research 5 times a year, showing your commitment to understanding and engaging with diverse user needs and contexts directly.
• Proven ability to work in virtual teams, excelling in emotional intelligence to foster inspiration, collaboration, and a psychologically safe workspace
• A deep-rooted passion for sustainability, with a commitment to leveraging thoughtful design and innovative solutions to drive positive change in urban living.
