Lead Engineer, Marine

We are now looking for a Lead Engineer for our delivery projects. In this role you are responsible for the technical planning and implementation of project deliveries ensuring timeliness, cost efficiency and meeting of customer expectations. Your main tasks are to design Marine Control System, test and commission the product in the yards. You'll be working together with the project manager, customers and project team.

In this role you will be responsible of:

• Technical project design
• Implementation of automation solutions
• Application Engineering
• Participate and contribute in surveys and customer meetings
• Participate in factory acceptance testing
• Startup and supervision of installation at ship
• Delivery of system to customer
• Work will require travelling world-wide for surveys and start-ups

Expectations

B.Sc. or M.Sc. degree in automation (or similar) is very good background for this position. To be a successful project engineer you'll need the following skills or desire to learn them:

• experience and knowledge of instrumentation, programming and installation of Automation systems
• knowledge of maintenance and operation of distributed control systems (Valmet DNA)
• process knowhow of Marine and experience related to DCS/PLC Marine control systems is considered as a strength
