Offensive Security practitioner

We are looking for an Offensive Security practitioner

A career within Cybersecurity and Privacy services, will provide you with the opportunity to help our clients implement an effective cybersecurity programme that protects against threats, propels transformation, and drives growth. We play an integral role in helping our clients ensure they are protected by developing transformation strategies focused on security, efficiently integrate and manage new or existing technology systems to deliver continuous operational improvements and increase their cybersecurity investment, and detect, respond, and remediate threats.

You will be part of the PwC Finland cybersecurity and privacy services team, working on client-facing projects mainly related to Red/Purple Teaming, Penetration Testing, Mobile Security Assessment, Threat Modeling, Threat Intelligence, Vulnerability Assessment, Secure Code Review, Network Security Assessment, and Enterprise Security Architecture.

In particular, you will work in:

  • Collaborate with clients to understand their cybersecurity needs and provide fit-for-purpose solutions
  • Red Teaming and/or Penetration Testing activities from outside and/or within the customer's infrastructure, network and applications with the aim of gaining unauthorized access to ICT/OT systems
  • Looking for security vulnerabilities on web applications, infrastructure systems, network equipment, Wi-Fi systems, mobile applications, API, etc.
  • Lead or participate in customer meetings, providing technical expertise and guidance
  • Preparing and presenting reports at both technical and executive level, including recommendations, methodologies, findings, and remediation strategies to an heterogeneous customer base
  • Support the internal and/or customer teams in the preparation, formalization, implementation and verification of security requirements following a "Security by Design" or other relevant principles
  • Collaborate, learn and mentor with other team members locally or globally and contribute to the development of internal knowledge base and best practices

This role is for you if:

  • Minimum 3-5 years in role preferred; an experience in a consulting company is considered a plus
  • Degree: Masters or Bachelor Degree preferred in Computer and Information Science, Information Technology, Computer Applications, Computer Engineering, Information CyberSecurity
  • Certification(s) preferred: OSCP, OSCE, CISSP, CEH, eJPT, GWAPT, GIAC GPEN, GIAC GXPN and equivalents or willingness to be certified
  • Background in technical security, offensive security and penetration test frameworks/methodologies (OWASP, OSSTMM, TIBER-EU etc.)
  • Experience in penetration testing of IoT/OT systems is considered a plus
  • Strong understanding of network protocols, system configurations, and security architectures
  • Experience in identifying, analyzing, and exploiting vulnerabilities
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Languages: Fluent (written and spoken) Finnish and English, Swedish is a plus
