Product Engineer
Your job is to work with product development, product management and project deliveries of SMART Products related to the recovery cycle of pulp production. You will be part of the whole life cycle of the products, from the idea and development phase to project deliveries. You will be exposed to the fast-changing worlds of digitalization, machine learning and AI facing a traditional industry.
As a Product Engineer your job will include:
- Be part of the cross-functional team and actively support product development projects in collaboration with customers
- Iterate product strategies and work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful market deployment
- Productize and standardize solutions
- Develop and maintain product relevant documentation
- Monitor customer satisfaction and identify customer needs and make sure that development needs/ change requests are implemented
- Take an active role and drive delivery projects in both engineering and start-up phase
- Support and train Sales and Customers on technical matters
The location of the job will be preferably Helsinki during the training period, also other ANDRITZ Oy locations in Finland can be discussed.
We are looking for a candidate with:
M.Sc. or B.Sc. in engineering, preferably automation or process
Customer focus and proactive way of working
A holistic view, striving towards continuous improvement
Excellent communication skills
Readiness to travel within Finland and abroad, and work in a multicultural environment
Fluent written and spoken English skills, other language skills are seen as an advantage
Good communication and team working skills
The following things are seen as an advantage:
Experience with project work and/or pulp mills
Experience in Product Management and Lifecycle processes
Experience with machine vision and/or machine learning algorithms
