We are looking for a driven and determined Project Manager, Operations to guide the transfer of Bittium's product manufacturing to a new factory and a new supply chain setup. In this role, you will lead and enable the work of a team of professionals who are responsible for ensuring that the product ramp-ups are on time and meet our high-quality standards. At times, the work will be hectic, but you will have the opportunity to make an impact and implement new ideas. Communication and cooperation with both internal and external stakeholders is an important part of your day-to-day work, and as a work community, we are open and supportive. In this Project Manager role, you will play a pivotal part in ensuring a seamless transition of product manufacturing to a new location and a redefined supply chain structure. The location of this position is Oulu.
Main tasks:
- Managing production transfer and ramp-up
- Planning and controlling changes
- Driving continuous yield and quality improvement actions
- Setting up ways of working for future projects
To be successful in this position, you should have:
- At least 5 years of experience in manufacturing and operations management
- Strong experience in product ramp-ups and electronics manufacturing
- Experience in logistics, sourcing, and production testing
- Experience using ERP systems
- Willingness to travel
- Fluency in written and spoken English and Finnish
