Project Quality (PQ) Engineer/Manager

to join our Project Quality team located in Porvoo, Finland.

Our medium-sized team of project quality (PQ) professionals is a part of the Investment Project Execution and Governance HSEQ Team. The team's role is vital for ensuring the successful execution of Neste's investment and Turnaround (TA) projects.

As a PQ Team member, you will participate in the regular team meetings and the development of project quality activities, processes and procedures.

As a PQ Engineer/Manager, you will work closely with the Project Manager and Development Manager in investment and TA projects and proactively support project stakeholders by monitoring and conducting all project quality activities in different phases of the project. Together with your expertise, we can do meaningful work to drive Neste forward.

Your role in our team

  • Organizing and coordinating quality activities in investment projects.

  • Ensuring the implementation of quality and risk management in projects.

    • Drafting and updating quality and risk management plans.

    • Managing the project risk register, including risk identification and monitoring, and facilitating related events (workshops, follow-ups, closing the risk register).

  • Coordinating project quality review processes and facilitating review meetings

  • Coordinating the lessons learned process in projects.

  • Nonconformity management.

    • Leading, coordinating, and facilitating root cause analysis and investigations.

  • Reviewing contractors' general quality plans.

  • Coordinating specification deviation cases.

  • Good English language skills, both written and spoken. Finnish is an advantage for ensuring effective communication with all stakeholders

  • M.Sc.or B.Sc. in engineering or in other related fields.
