Real Estate Manager / Project Manager

We are looking for an experienced Real Estate Manager at Hitachi Energy in Vaasa, Finland. In this new role, you are responsible for production units in both rented and self-owned premises and have daily contact with the businesses that operate in the premises. You have budget responsibility and are responsible for ensuring that maintenance plans are developed and implemented. You are involved as a specifier of requirements in projects and coordinate property-related issues. You collaborate with the business units and support functions and take overall responsibility for understanding current and future needs.

Your responsibilities
- Budget responsibility and follow-up for the different sites.
- Be the primary point of contact between Hitachi Energy and property owners and their subcontractors.
- Carry out orders of assignments in collaboration with both internal and external colleagues.
- Planning and follow-up of both preventive and corrective maintenance as well as various projects.
- Ensuring compliance with applicable directives, regulatory requirements and laws.
- Financial follow-up and evaluation of agreements entered into.

Your background
- Relevant education and experience in property management in commercial premises and industries.
- Several years of professional experience in similar roles.
- Negotiation skills and good knowledge of leading meetings and projects as well as being responsible for maintenance budgets.
- Experience in project management and reporting.
- Knowledge of tenancy and construction law.
- Experience in developing maintenance plans.
- Structured and meticulous in working methods and documentation.
- Good verbal and written communication skills in Finnish and English.
- Experience in managing projects.
- Possibility to travel mainly within Finland, driver's license required.
