Cloud Platforms team is a software development and cloud engineering team that works together in multiple cross-organisational teams to develop and maintain Finnair's Cloud, Integrations and Core Services. Core Services and Integrations handle for example our Flight, Passenger and Crew data. The team working on our Core Services and Integrations is about 10 developers in addition to experts from other teams.
We are now looking for a
SENIOR DEVELOPER
to work on our Flight Core system in Vantaa, Finland.
Working as a Senior Developer, your job is to develop and maintain our Flight Core system, which works as a data hub for our flight data. Your work will help to automate Finnair's flight operations by reducing the amount of manual work on the ground and in the air. You will get to learn all the different stages of a flight and what happens on the ground between flights. You will use your technical expertise and work together with the operations to make these different stages more efficient.

Our expectations:

Solid experience in software development and being part of a development team.

Experience of developing complex integrations in Cloud.

Previous experience at least in some of our stack: AWS, TypeScript, event-driven architecture and OpenAPI.

Interest in the airline industry.

Excellent communication skills and positive mindset to work in a social, friendly and international team.

Fluency in English
