Solution Architect

Job Description

We are looking for a Solution Architect who designs comprehensive technical solutions to bridge business problems with technology, ensuring alignment with organizational goals, security, and scalability. In your work you create architecture blueprints, select technology stacks, and lead implementation teams, acting as a crucial link between stakeholders and developers.

The role is based in our Tampere or Espoo office, and the work will be done in a hybrid model according to our needs.

Your main responsibilities

• Sales and presales: Identifying customer needs and proposing bold solutions.
• Architecture Design: Creating detailed architecture specifications, diagrams, and documentation for software and infrastructure.
• Strategic Alignment: Mapping business requirements to technical solutions, ensuring scalability, reliability, and security.
• Technology Selection: Evaluating and recommending tools, platforms, and frameworks that align with technical strategies.
• Implementation Oversight: Guiding development teams during implementation to ensure adherence to the designed architecture.
• Stakeholder Management: Communicating technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and acting as a bridge between teams.

Your required skills and experience

• Technical Expertise: Strong background in software engineering (minimum 10 years), system integration, infrastructure, and cloud technologies (e.g., Azure, AWS).
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to explain complex concepts to diverse audiences.
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills to diagnose complex problems and design effective, creative solutions.
• Leadership: Ability and proven track-record in leading teams and guiding technical decision-making.
• Project Management: Experience with SDLC, Agile methodologies, and managing project risks.
• A Master's degree in computer science or related field.
• Extensive experience in software design, development, and IT infrastructure.
• Experience in a technical leadership role.
• Language skills: fluent English and Finnish
