Join us and take your career to the next level

Kalmar is looking for a driven Strategy Analyst to support our global value creation by managing high-quality strategy processes and executing in-depth analyses. In this high-visibility role, you will transform complex data into actionable insights and facilitate the strategic processes that drive value across our entire organization.

As a key member of our strategy team, you will act as a bridge between high-level vision and operational execution. Your work will directly support Kalmar's top management and leadership teams in making the fact-based, future-proof decisions that steer our global direction.

What are your key responsibilities:

  • Global Strategy Coordination: Manage the annual strategic planning cycle, ensuring all global business units stay on schedule and deliver high-quality strategic plans.
  • Strategic Decision Support: Conduct in-depth research and financial analyses to provide top management with the facts needed for critical business decisions.
  • Leadership Facilitation: Design and lead strategy workshops for leadership teams to encourage collaboration and reach agreement on long-term goals.
  • Strategy Implementation: Partner with divisions and functions to ensure high-level strategies are turned into clear actions and measurable results.
  • Executive Communication: Simplify complex data into high-quality presentations and "deep-dive" reports for the Management Board and stakeholders.
  • Project Management: Lead special strategic projects and ad-hoc initiatives, connecting with internal and external partners to drive company value.

What we offer you:

  • Rewards that truly count: Enjoy meaningful rewards that support your everyday life and well-being, including a company mobile phone, a flexible Edenred benefit for lunch, commuting, or wellness services, and comprehensive healthcare through Mehiläinen, enhanced by our health insurance fund for additional coverage and peace of mind.
  • Safety that moves us forward: Build your career with a company rooted in safety since the 1940s, ensuring stability and an environment that empowers you to speak and be heard.
  • Work-life balance: We prioritise work-life balance, providing flexible working hours and a hybrid work model tailored to meet both your needs and those of your team.
  • Purpose that drives change: You'll contribute to solutions that transform global trade, creating environmental and operational innovations. You'll be in the driver's seat of ideas, developing digital technologies that set industry standards and position us as the forerunner.
  • People who move together: You'll collaborate with people who build lasting relationships through global expertise, connections, and a commitment to sustainability.

Become part of our global network of 5,200 professionals across 120+ countries, where your work drives innovation, sustainability, and meaningful impact around the world.

What you bring to the role:

  • Academic Background: Master's degree in Business, Engineering, Finance, or a related field.
  • Professional Track Record: 1-3 years of experience in Management Consulting or Corporate Strategy.
  • Analytical Mindset: You have a structured way of working and can navigate complex problem-solving scenarios with ease.
  • Communication Mastery: Strong facilitation skills to lead discussions and proficiency in managing diverse stakeholder communications across all levels of the organization.
  • Professional Language Skills: Fluency in English is a must (Finnish is a plus). You are as comfortable presenting to executives as you are collaborating with cross-functional teams.
  • Technical Proficiency: Expert-level skills in Google Workspace (Sheets, Slides) and MS Office (Excel, PPT).
  • Growth Orientation & Team Spirit: Curious, "can-do" attitude with a drive to learn and a desire to achieve results together.
  • Bonus Points: Experience with HFM, QlikSense, or Reuters Eikon will give you a significant head start.
