Kalmar is looking for a driven Strategy Analyst to support our global value creation by managing high-quality strategy processes and executing in-depth analyses. This is a high-visibility role designed for an analytical professional with a Management Consulting or PMO background, who will transform complex data into actionable insights and facilitate the strategic processes that drive value across our entire organization.
As a key member of our strategy team, you will act as the vital bridge between high-level vision and operational execution. In this role, you will act as a key facilitator of our strategy process, working in close cooperation with stakeholders across the organization to turn insights into actionable plans. Your work will directly support Kalmar's top management and leadership teams in making the fact-based, future-proof decisions that steer our global direction.
What are your key responsibilities:
- Global Strategy & PMO Coordination: Manage the annual strategic planning cycle, ensuring all global business units stay on schedule, hit milestones, and deliver high-quality strategic plans.
- End-to-End Project Management: Own and lead special strategic projects and ad-hoc initiatives. You will connect internal and external partners, managing timelines and resources to drive maximum company value.
- Strategic Decision Support: Conduct in-depth research and financial analyses. You will provide top management with the facts and data-driven deep-dives needed for critical, future-proof business decisions.
- Leadership Facilitation: Design and lead strategy workshops for leadership teams. You will use your consultancy toolkit to encourage collaboration, manage diverse stakeholders, and reach agreement on long-term goals.
- Strategy Implementation: Partner with divisions and functions to ensure high-level strategies are turned into clear actions and measurable results.
- Executive Communication: Simplify complex data sets into high-quality presentations and dashboards for the Management Board, explaining the story behind the numbers to a diverse set of stakeholders.

What you bring to the role:
- Academic Background: Master's degree in Business, Engineering, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional Track Record: 1-3 years of experience in Management Consulting, Corporate Strategy, or a Strategic PMO function, with a proven ability to lead workstreams and deliver high-stakes results.
- Analytical & PMO Mindset: A highly structured approach to work; you can navigate complex problem-solving scenarios and manage project frameworks with ease.
- Communication & Facilitation Mastery: Expert facilitation skills to lead strategic discussions and the proficiency to manage diverse stakeholder expectations across all levels of the global organization.
- Professional Language Skills: Fluency in English is essential (Finnish is a plus). You are as confident delivering ready-to-decide presentations to executives as you are coordinating with cross-functional project teams.
- Technical Proficiency: Expert-level mastery of Google Workspace (Sheets, Slides) and MS Office (Excel, PPT) for high-level modeling and executive reporting.
- Growth Orientation & Team Spirit: A curious, "can-do" attitude with a drive to lead strategic initiatives and a desire to achieve collective success.
- Bonus Points: Prior experience with HFM, QlikSense, or Reuters Eikon will give you a significant head start in managing our strategic data.
