Summer trainee, Digital Development
to our Digital Development team in Espoo, Finland. We are a collaborative team of forward-thinking professionals dedicated to developing Neste's digital product portfolio for our customers and internal stakeholders.
We are seeking a proactive Summer Trainee to join our Digital Development team, focusing on Testing and Quality Assurance (QA) tasks. We are on an exciting journey of renewing our customer self-service portal and you will get a chance to contribute to the successful completion and launch of the product. While your main focus will be testing features in the new customer portal, you will be involved in a variety of tasks supporting overall product development.

Your role during the summer
You will support our team and get the opportunity to deepen your own expertise in software QA and testing. Your primary responsibility will be to test features in our new customer portal but you will also be involved in various tasks which support our product development. You will be working closely together with Product owners, Architect and Digital development managers as well as our developers.

You are currently studying or have studied a technical field in higher education (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering) or a similar, relevant field.

Excellent communication skills in English, Finnish skills are seen as an advantage.

Motivation to learn and deepen your knowledge in software testing principles, quality assurance methodologies and software development.

A responsible, proactive attitude and a collaborative mindset, willing to take on various tasks.

We also value earlier work experience using our key tools such as Google Workspace, Jira, Confluence and Azure DevOps but it is not mandatory.

The job is located in Keilaranta, Espoo, with excellent transport connections. Currently we work regularly at least three days a week at the office to ensure seamless collaboration and sense of belonging.
The position follows the collective agreement for senior salaried employees. If you are in the early stages of your studies, the minimum starting salary is 2350 EUR. Your salary will also depend on relevant work experience and, for students, the number of completed course credits. We welcome applications from both current students and those who have graduated after 1st January 2025. Please note that you must be at least 18 years old at the start of employment. The summer job typically takes place between May 1 and September 30, 2026.
