Trading Support Specialist

We are looking for a Trading Support Specialist to join our Financial Trading Back Office team in Espoo Keilaniemi.



About the role

We ensure the correct trade life cycle management in relevant systems, from trading to accounting. As a specialist, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operative tasks related to commodity derivatives trading in exchanges and OTC transactions with our customers in the Nordic Markets.

 

Daily tasks are e.g., regulatory reporting, reconciliation of trades and positions, responsibilities of correct trade data in all systems including taking care of the correction process. At the end of each month you will participate in month end activities such as settlements, invoicing and accounting reconciliations.

 

You will be part of a team where operative tasks are combined with development of processes. You will be participating in the development of processes and especially systems, together with the team. You will work in close co-operation with traders, risk management, treasury operations and finance to ensure the quality and efficient post trade derivatives process.

 

Currently the team is working partly remotely and will continue in a hybrid mode in the future as well. The Financial Trading Back Office team sits within the Business Services and Transformation organization in CCM.

 

About you

We expect you to have a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field together with a passion for the electricity market and some years of relevant working experience e.g., in financial institution or energy trading company. We will consider candidates without a Bachelor's degree, who possess several years of relevant work experience.



We appreciate experience in system testing and enthusiasm for IT. In order to succeed in this position, you need to be motivated to learn new things and enjoy working both independently and with the team. You are solution-oriented and have a drive for continuous improvement. In your working day you handle a variety of different tasks both routine and more complex which both requires high attention to detail.

Good communication and collaboration skills are needed. You need to have fluent written and verbal language skills in both English and Finnish. Additional Nordic languages are a clear benefit.
