We are looking for a Web Developer Trainee to join our team for the summer! This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment focused on providing value to the end-users.
You'll be working on our Smart Office Solutions product portfolio using modern web technologies, such as React and TypeScript. As a Trainee, you will primarily be contributing to the front-end development of our Framery Connect platform for workplace management. In this role, you will immerse yourself in front-end web application development, focusing on implementing new features and enhancing user experience of our products. You will gain hands-on experience with modern web technologies and become an active participant in the entire software development process. This is an exciting opportunity because you will work closely with experienced developers and QA engineers, learning best practices and seeing your contributions directly deployed to improve our Smart Office Solutions, offering immediate impact and a valuable understanding of product development.
We Are Looking for
- Previous coding experience gained through studies or personal projects. Show us what you've built!
- Good foundational knowledge of web development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
- Strong familiarity with the React framework.
- Experience with TypeScript, Next.js, and REST APIs is considered a significant advantage.
- Clear and effective communication skills in English.
- Curious, proactive, and a positive attitude towards challenges. A collaborative and communicative person who enjoys working as part of a team will thrive in our environment.

Practicalities
This is a full-time and fixed-term position from May to the end of August 2026. We hope you can start on May 4th, but the exact dates can be agreed on together to suit the needs of both parties best. Please tell us in your application when you would be able to start.
The position is located in Framery HQ in Tampere.
The compensation for the role is based on our trainee salary, which ranges from 2250€ to €2800 per month for a full-time contract. The final compensation depends on the achieved study credits.
