CNC Lathe Operator for Okuma Multus B-750 with OSP-3000 Control System

For our client in Iisalmi, Finland, we are seeking an experienced CNC Turning Center Operator who takes pride in precision machining and high-quality workmanship.

The machine is intended for machining large and complex components, offering high accuracy, rigidity, and process efficiency.

The machine is equipped with the Okuma OSP-3000 control system, which provides:
* an intuitive user interface,
* advanced CNC programming functions,
* multi-axis and simultaneous machining capabilities,
* easy program editing and management.

This position is suitable for candidates with experience in operating CNC lathes / turn-mill machines, reading technical drawings, and independently preparing machining processes.

Your role
* Operate and set up a CNC turning center (Okuma B-750, OSP-3000)
* Program, adjust, and optimize machining processes
* Manufacture individual parts and small series according to technical drawings
* Monitor machining quality and take responsibility for finished parts
* Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organized workstation
* Collaborate closely with experienced colleagues in a team-oriented environment

What we are looking for
* Technical education in machining, metalworking, or a related field
* Proven experience in CNC turning; experience with modern Okuma / OSP controls is a strong advantage
* Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings
* Practical knowledge of CNC programming, setup, and tooling
* Independent, reliable, and quality-oriented work approach
* Good organizational skills and attention to detail
* Team spirit and respect for workplace standards
* Working knowledge of English or Finnish
