We are looking for a motivated Global Trade Services Coordinator to join our Global Trade Services team in Rovaniemi, Finland. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career professional looking to build expertise in customs, international trade, and trade compliance. The successful candidate will support customs import and export operations in Finland and Norway, with approximately 75% of the focus on Finland. Working closely with internal stakeholders, customs authorities, and logistics partners, the role is critical in ensuring compliant and efficient cross-border trade activities.
Key Responsibilies:
- Support daily import and export customs operations for Finland and Norway
- Prepare, review, and maintain customs documentation, including commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, and customs declarations
- Coordinate with customs brokers, customs authorities and internal stakeholders
- Monitor shipments and support the resolution of customs-related delays and issues
- Assist with product classification and HS code determination
- Support customs compliance activities, export controls, and trade regulations
- Analyze customs-related data, including duties, Free Trade Agreement (FTA) utilization, and import/export transactions
- Work closely with internal departments such as Sales, Logistics, Finance, and Supply Chain, as well as other BRP locations across EMEA
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and process standardization
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelors degree in Business, International Trade, Logistics, Supply Chain, Finance, or a related field is an advantage
- 1-3 years of relevant work experience
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work both independently and as part of a team
- Fluent in Finnish and English. Other Scandinavian language skills would be an asset
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel, MS Office and Google Workspace
- SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA experience is an advantage
- Knowledge of Power BI and Snowflake is considered a plus
