IT Product Owner, Facility & Security IT

We are now looking for a  

IT PRODUCT OWNER, FACILITY MANAGEMENT & SECURITY IT

to join Finnair's Airport, Facility and Security IT team in Digital Services.

Digital services are at the very core of the renewed Finnair strategy. The role of digital services is increasing, be it in ensuring smooth and reliable operations, distributing and retailing our product offering, providing our people with state-of-the-art tools to do their work or making the customer journeys easy and enjoyable. 

As a part of Finnair Digital Services and our Cyber Unit we have Airport, Facility and Security IT team where we are responsible of 

• coordinating and managing in airport customer journey digitalization, traffic & route planning from IT perspective, airport IT ramp up, lifecycle support & ramp down, IT support for our international offices, IT & Security assurance activities of our international offices 
• coordinating and managing IT solutions and applications of our Facility Management and Security department in application & system lifecycle management, IT vendor management, and IT & Business Coordination

Your responsibilities in this role will include:

• Planning and execution of the product strategy, practices and activities
• Creating and maintaining the product backlog
• Collaborating with business owners and other product owners to uphold business priority and vision
• Discovery and expression of product vision and roadmap
• Prioritizing product releases and features to ensure business goals are achieved
• Developing insight, exploring and defining product requirements that support the business
• Ensuring application lifecycle management activities follow our ITIL practices
• Coordinating business and IT collaboration
• Managing IT vendors in the area

None of this will of course be done alone, as others in the unit and our vendors participate, and these are all joint effort. 

An ideal candidate for this role will have:

• Knowledge of 
  • solution development, design and requirements gathering
  • product backlog management
  • ITIL processes
  • business & IT partnership
  • IT vendor management
  • information technology and maintaining technical documentation
• Skills in 
  • leading and facilitating development activities and roadmaps
  • leading and influencing stakeholders at all levels and driving results in a fast-paced environment
  • using data and insights to drive solutions and continuously improve performance and experience of IT products
  • preparing reports and providing briefings to management and internal customers
• Experience in 
  • similar role as an IT product owner or IT service manager 
  • utilizing digital concepts, strategy and best practices to bring value for business units
  • stakeholder and IT vendor management
  • an IT role towards facility management and/or corporate security areas is a bonus

This position is located in Digital Services near the Helsinki Airport and reports to the Chief Information Security Officer. Our working language are Finnish and English.
