The position
As Senior Procurement Project Manager, you'll become at member of our high performing Procurement team and will assist clients in several geographies worldwide in executing significant capital programs and projects focused on green technologies, aimed at delivering more sustainable energy solutions to customers and communities.
Your key responsibilities will be:
- Developing and implementing procurement strategies in cooperation with internal and external stakeholders
- Managing project specific purchases of equipment, systems, and services
- Planning and execution of tender processes from notification to tender packages set up, bid evaluation, supplier recommendation and managing contract execution.
- Carrying out supplier and project procurement risk assessments addressing quality, contract performance, and delivery to ensure the project remains on schedule and budget.
- Developing analytics on supplier performance and reporting.
- Driving market studies to identify procurement opportunities and trends.
Your qualifications
- Relevant higher commercial education at minimum bachelor level
- Proven experience with operational and strategic procurement in the industrial or energy transition (green energy) sectors is essential, with further consideration given to applicants with measurable procurement experience within public sector or government led energy or sustainability type projects, within the industrial process industry, pharmaceutical industry, as well as from civil contracting
- Proven experience with contract management of medium and high value contracts
- Natural drive with a structured and result-oriented approach to assignments
- Solid commercial understanding with strong analytical competencies and a systematic approach
- Excellent interpersonal skills at all levels with internal as well as external stakeholders
- Consultant-oriented mindset with the ability to drive market studies, develop procurement strategies, and manage the entire procurement process from tender setup to contract management.
- Fluent at contract negotiation level in both Finnish and English

The Procurement department is characterized by an informal and humorous collaboration, where we bring the individual strengths into play through close collaboration. The department is a Global Competence Centre and colleagues are therefore located in several locations - currently only in the Nordics.
