Metsä Group is looking for a
SPECIALIST, PMO
to join our PMO team to ensure our savings and profitability improvement program execution. In this role, you will work closely across the whole Metsä Group organization and will have a great opportunity to deep dive in our operations. This position is temporary until June 2027.

You will be a member of our PMO team for our €300M savings and profit improvement program.

You are a key driver to keep business cases on the track and ensure that we have solid governance methods in place throughout the program execution.

You will ensure systematic way of working and solid practicalities to our program via common tools.

You are supporting our organization to deliver timely implementation of action planning.

You will prepare management-level reporting and facilitate fact-based analysis for the efficient decision-making.

You will collaborate closely with all our business areas and functions, and will have a wide network to work with.
You will report to the program lead, SVP Group Operations Development and the position is located at Metsä Group's head office in Espoo.
What are we expecting of you?

Higher education in economics, engineering, or another relevant field. If you have not completed your degree yet, do not hesitate to consider this opportunity still!

Some experience in project management, preferably from some PMO role in a consultancy company and proven hands-on role in a demanding project

Excellent analytical skills and efficient organizing capabilities

Efficient skills to use analytics tools, including Excel and basic analytics tools

Fluency in Finnish and English, with excellent interpersonal skills.

Eagerness to learn, develop, and pursue ambitious career goals.

Ability to synthesize insights and produce communication materials effectively across all levels of the organization.
