Specialist, Private Client Operations

Mandatum Asset Management Ltd (“MAM”) is a new asset management company that was formed by combining Sampo Group’s proprietary balance sheet, client assets and the investments operations from Sampo plc and Mandatum Life. MAM offers discretionary and consultative wealth management and manages various investment strategies within the core areas - Credit, Alternatives and Equity selection. MAM’s direct clients are Nordic and European institutional and UHNWI investors, other client segments are covered through selected distribution networks. Mandatum Asset Management belongs to Sampo Group and is a sister company to Mandatum Life Insurance Company Ltd. At inception, MAM will manage around 24bn euros and employ 100 investment professionals.

We are now looking for a Specialist to join our Private Client Operations team in Mandatum Asset Management.

In this role you will work in close cooperation with wealth managers. You will handle new contracts and orders from our wealth management clients, maintain and update the client information and do other variable tasks in your support position. You will also participate in the development of our fast-growing business in various projects and workshops.

The candidate we are looking for is a positive person and willing to learn new things. You can perceive even large entities and work effectively under the pressure on tight schedules. You have a willingness to develop our work processes and practices in a customer-oriented and open-minded way, and you can adapt effectively to changing ways of working. To succeed in the Specialist role, you must be able to utilize the learned skills and knowledge to perform a variety of work tasks. In addition to Finnish, you need also fluent English in your work. Experience in customer service work, good understanding of financial instruments and General Securities Qualification (APV1) are considered as advantages.

We also expect you to have:

• Previous work experience in finance industry
• Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in relevant field
• Excellent collaboration, communication and teamwork skills
• Good prioritization and time management skills
