Technical Business analyst to Aktia’s Project Management office

Finance sector needs to re-vitalize its ways of working and set the customer experience in the center of all development activities.

Now we are looking for a Technical Business analyst to join Aktia’s Project Management office. Aktia’s Project Management office supports and enables strategic change inside Aktia.

As a Business analyst, your responsibility is to gather, process and formalize the needed information for development. You proactively drive solutions forward by analyzing information and helping in facilitating the decision making. You are quick in adopting new processes, business areas and functionalities, while at the same time constantly challenging, improving and keeping the customer value in focus. Understanding of system integrations and agile development is an advantage.

In this role you will get an excellent view of the bank and life insurance business as well as of the fast-paced development lifecycle. We are currently renewing our insurance systems and your first task is to work as a business analyst in various phases of the system development project. Your task, together with your colleagues, is to act as a link between business development, IT and external system suppliers. You participate in the definition, planning and testing of system functions and integrations. You have an interest in developing processes and the system environment.

You will be working as part of a team, supported and empowered by peers and management. You have an agile mindset, constantly assessing and improving both own and teams’ ways of working. Working languages will be Finnish, Swedish and English. Documentation language of development is English.

• Analytical and problem-solving mindset
• Good interpersonal and facilitation skills
• Quick learner and proactive way of working
• You are fluent in Finnish and English. Swedish is an advantage
• Understanding the basic concepts of system integrations and technology
• Previous experience of finance or insurance sector and requirements gathering related roles is seen as an advantage
