We are looking for a Data & AI Solution Architect to join our Business Transformations team!
As a Data & AI Solution Architect, you will be part of KPMG's Data & AI community, a multidisciplinary team of data scientists, engineers, architects, and business advisors working closely together with KPMG's global network, alliance partners and complex enterprise environments. Our team brings together deep technical expertise, strong architectural thinking, and business understanding. This role combines hands‑on technical depth with strong architectural thinking bridging business requirements, analytics, and platform design.
As a Data & AI Solution Architect, you will
- Design modern, scalable data and AI architectures that support analytics, AI/ML, and GenAI use cases at enterprise scale
- Translate business and analytical requirements into robust, secure, and scalable solution designs
- Architect data platforms covering ingestion, transformation, storage, analytics, and AI consumption
- Design and support implementation of data pipelines and transformation frameworks, and collaborate with data scientists to ensure solutions are production‑ready
- Design and promote trusted data foundations, incorporating governance, quality, metadata, lineage, and access controls by default
- Contribute to cross‑border Nordic client engagements and the continuous development of KPMG's Data & AI offerings and accelerators
You're a strong candidate if you have
- Higher education degree combining data, technology, and business
- At least 10 years of experience in relevant consulting or transformation projects
- Strong experience in data engineering, data science, or analytics engineering with architectural responsibility, and understanding of data governance, security, privacy, and responsible AI principles
- Hands‑on experience designing and building modern data platforms and AI solutions, and solid understanding of data modelling, analytics architectures, and ML/AI workflows
- Experience with leading data and AI platforms: Microsoft Fabric, Purview, Azure Data & AI services are seen as a strong advantage
- Familiarity with cloud‑native data engineering patterns and scalable architectures
- Full professional fluency in both Finnish and English
