About the role
Our Data and Integrations team within Fortum Group is dedicated to enhancing the Fortum Data ecosystem, laying the foundation for AI advancements across Fortum Enterprise and its business units. We are looking for talented individuals, who are eager to contribute their skills to this journey and driven to continuously learn and grow. 

As a Senior Solution Architect, Data, you will join our Architecture and Master Data Management team within Data and Integrations. If you have been working as a Data Architect in modelling business terms and data models together with the business and/or as a Solution Architect designing Data Platforms, you could be our person. 

In this role you will be:

• Defining business terms and data models with business
• Identifying, defining and modelling Fortum Master Data
• Defining solution architecture specifications for our data solutions to be developed on top of our platforms
• Be part of planning our effective data governance and operations as well as participate in our co-ops with technical leads, experts and architects of various roles in our organization

Some key technology platforms that we utilize are AWS Cloud, Azure Cloud, Azure Fabric / Power BI, Databricks Lake House and Snowflake Data Warehouse. We also use Bizzdesign as a modelling tool to be aware of core technology landscape and nature of technologies around our data solutions.
Business focus and content is the area to be prioritized.

About you
To succeed in this role, you have:

• Experience and skills of cooperation with the business in data modelling.
• Modelling skills of various data modelling techniques.
• Understanding of Master Data. An advantage is to have experience of Master Data Management operations.
• Understanding and/or experience of metadata design.
• Understanding and/or experience of data management activities in data solutions.
• Understanding and knowledge of Cloud Platform technologies and key data analytics / Data Platform technology products.
• Understanding of Agile methodologies and using agility
• Good knowledge of both data and integration solutions is an advantage, as we aim to unite these areas.
• Experience in planning effective action plans to acquire new data assets to support new data use cases.
• Experience and understanding of company finance data area is a benefit, but not mandatory

The level of experience, knowledge and skills may differ across expected areas, but in general, you have a good knowledge in most of these.
