Financial Controlling Manager

  • The Financial Controlling Manager at Framery Oy will lead a team of four and take full ownership of the Record-to-Report (R2R) process across all group legal entities.

We are looking for a Financial Controlling Manager to lead and develop our Financial Controlling team.

In this position, you will take full ownership of our Record-to-Report (R2R) process across all group legal entities. You will act as a direct line manager for a team of four financial controllers, ensuring our global reporting and tax compliance run smoothly.

You will have a direct impact on our finance operations and future growth. Your focus will be on leading the team daily, driving development projects, and working closely with key stakeholders. You will be based at our headquarters in Tampere, collaborating closely with our internal finance team and global partners, such as local accounting providers.

 

Your responsibilities include:

  • Team Leadership: Support and coach your team members in their daily work, helping them grow as experts while bringing clarity to goals and priorities.

  • Accounting and Tax Expertise: Oversee financial closings, financial statements, and corporate income tax filings across group legal entities while providing guidance on technical accounting questions, statutory reporting, corporate taxation, and transfer pricing.

  • Process and System Development: Drive continuous development of our finance operations and ERP setup (NetSuite), establishing clear process guidelines, standard operating procedures, and documentation for the team.

  • Global Governance & Controls: Maintain global administrative frameworks, including intercompany governance, corporate tax alignment and continuous audit readiness.

  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with internal functions such as Payroll, Legal, IT, HR and manage external relationships with auditors, tax authorities, and local accounting partners.

We are looking for:

  • Solid accounting background centered on FAS (Finnish Accounting Standards), general ledger, corporate taxation, and transfer pricing.   

  • Experience in global, multi-entity environments, including coordinating with external partners on foreign local GAAPs and working with IFRS principles

  • Leadership experience with a supportive, people-first approach.

  • Systems proficiency in NetSuite and Excel, paired with a drive to automate routines.

  • Relevant academic degree, such as a Master’s or Bachelor’s in Finance or Economics.

  • Fluent written and spoken skills in both English and Finnish.

Practicalities:
