As a Senior Executive Support Engineer, you will join a small, collaborative team providing dedicated IT support to Nokia’s CEO, Group Leadership Team members, and other senior executives. Acting as a trusted technology partner, you will anticipate their needs, resolve complex issues end to end, and help them make effective use of emerging tools and technologies.
You will work closely with the CEO office and teams across Nokia’s Chief Information Office to deliver seamless, discreet support during daily operations, board meetings, leadership events, and international travel. This is a high-visibility role where proactive thinking, technical expertise, and exceptional service make a direct impact.
HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE AND WHAT YOU WILL LEARN
- Serve as the dedicated IT contact for the CEO, the CEO office, and Group Leadership Team (GLT) members, owning incidents and escalations through to resolution with internal teams and external providers.
- Coordinate and provide on-site technology support for executive meetings, events, office visits, and international travel, working closely with the CEO office, IT colleagues, and Security.
- Act as a trusted technology advisor and AI expert, helping executives adopt emerging productivity and collaboration tools.
- Provide expert-level support across both macOS and Windows environments — including mobile, tablet, and PC — ensuring consistent service regardless of device platform.
- Manage the provisioning and lifecycle of executive devices and accessories in line with Nokia security and compliance standards.
- Develop and maintain support runbooks and continuous improvement plans for the executive support function.
KEY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- 8+ years' of experience in IT support, with demonstrated ownership of complex technical issues through to resolution.
- Proven experience supporting senior executives or VIP users in a corporate environment and solid technical expertise across both macOS and Windows.
- Expert knowledge of AI-enabled productivity tools usage and the ability to advise executives on their use.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with discretion, professionalism, and composure to work effectively with senior executives.
- Proactive and flexible approach, with the ability to anticipate risks and adapt to changing priorities.
- Availability for on-call duty outside regular working hours and willingness and ability to travel frequently, including internationally and on short notice.
- Professional proficiency in Finnish/Swedish and English and a valid passport from NATO member country.
