We are looking for an M&A Analyst to join our Strategy & M&A team
As an M&A Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting and executing the Group’s M&A and partnership strategy. You will work as part of an international team alongside Adven colleagues and shareholders.
Your responsibilities will include financial modelling, target screening, and preparing materials for internal and external stakeholders. You will also contribute to shareholder reporting and participate in transactions throughout the entire deal life-cycle from origination to execution, closing, and integration.
This position offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience across Adven’s geographical footprint and to work closely with senior stakeholders.
The position is based at Adven’s office in Vantaa, Finland, with a possibility for 1-2 days working remotely. You will report to the SVP, Strategy & M&A.
Key Areas of Responsibility

Support M&A projects, including origination, due diligence, valuation, and negotiations

Build and maintain financial models for company analysis and valuation

Prepare high-quality materials for internal decision-making and shareholder reporting

Participate in strategy-related projects and analyses

Key Requirements

Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, or Engineering (e.g., Industrial Engineering)

1–4 years of relevant experience (e.g., investment banking, management consulting, corporate M&A, or strategy)

Strong experience in financial modelling and company valuation

Good understanding of valuation methodologies (e.g., DCF and LBO)

Interest in or experience from the energy sector

Professional proficiency in English and Finnish (Swedish is considered a plus)

Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving mindset

Ability to work independently and prioritize effectively

Hands-on, proactive, and entrepreneurial approach

Excellent communication and teamwork skills, including in virtual environments
