Do you want to work as a critical link between business and technology in one of the leading companies in its field? Kesko K IT is looking for an Analytics Platform Owner. You will have an initial focus on Qlik Sense Platform management, but with a view to evolving our data analytics capabilities to the next generation.

About the role:

As our Analytics Platform Owner, you will be responsible for developing, managing and supporting our Qlik Sense platform and services. This platform touches all parts of Kesko with around 12000 users, so its smooth running has a wide-reaching impact!

Looking to the future, we need to understand the needs of the various user-groups and design and implement the next phase of analytics tooling to deliver actionable insight.

You will be part of Kesko's central Data & Analytics Platforms team, collaborating with expert & supportive colleagues in the platforms as well as with various business stakeholders and IT partners across K Group.

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • Strong experience in Qlik Sense:
    You have already had an active role with Qlik Sense such as developer, consultant, architect, etc. as this is the prominent technology you'd be working with. You have strong experience on maintaining Qlik Sense platform via QMC
  • Problem-solver mindset, with self-driven & proactive attitude: You enjoy learning and investigating - both on the detail and the big picture. You take initiative to improve things and aren't afraid to suggest new ideas. You are solution-oriented and able to work independently when needed but also know when to ask for help or input.
  • A business mindset: You have excellent teamwork and communication skills, and are able to smoothlyand proactively communicate with business stakeholders and translate business needs into actionable items. Given the high amounts of users and thus business owners, people skills are a must!
  • Technical experience: You are familiar with ITIL and agile development as well as with capacity management and Azure cloud architecture. EExperienecxperience with other BI tools, for example Power BI, is a bonus.
  • Virtual team lead: You have experience in working in a virtual team or you have led a virtual team
  • Communication: Fluency in English is required (our working language). Finnish language skills are beneficial but not necessary - our team is international. You can clearly explain complex data topics to both technical and non-technical colleagues. And you will be heavily collaborating with both.
  • Please note that the role is in Finland and you will need the existing right to work here. Kesko is unable to sponsor work permits or visas.

Next steps
