Assembly Supervisor

We are looking for an Assembly Supervisor for the Iisalmi factory for a permanent employment. The supervisors main duties are the supervisory and guidance duties of the foreman's own assembly department.

Main responsibilities and tasks:
- The supervisor acts as the immediate supervisor of his or her own department
- Responsible for supervising the safe work of the department, compliance with working hours and the quality of production.
- In addition to managerial duties, the area of responsibility includes the management of resources between different workstations.
- The development of the assembly process, the implementation of work instructions and methods, and the training of personnel are an important part of the task.
- In development activities, the supervisor plays a key role in bringing the operating models and culture of continuous improvement into Normet's production.

To shine in this position, we hope you have:
- Technical, at least college-level education and at least 4 years of experience in industrial assembly tasks.
- Good knowledge of the production process, as well as an understanding of the production control process and logistics
- Good technical knowledge of the products to be manufactured and experience in assembly tasks
- Good interpersonal and managerial skills
- Basic skills in the use of industrial information systems (PDM, ERP, MES, office).
- Organizational skills and planning, good management of problem situations.
- Independent decision-making ability.
- Principles of LEAN & continuous improvement tools.
- Time study basic skills
- Good English language skills
