We are now looking for a self-guided, result-oriented and collaborative

IT Solution Manager, Data Connectivity

to join the Cloud Solutions team as an IT Solutions Manager, Data Connectivity. The position is permanent and it is based at Neste headquarters in Espoo.

In this IT Solutions Manager role, you are responsible for managing Neste's Data Connectivity infrastructure and participate in the service management work with our main infrastructure vendors. You will work closely both with colleagues from the Cloud Solutions team as well as IT Architects and our business representatives to ensure successful delivery of IT solutions in the connectivity area.

In our team, you will be working with a talented and driven tech team. We work in a flexible hybrid model, but have regular meetups at our head office. Working with us you can take part in different professional training events and seminars when possible, as well as  voluntary work in different charity organisations if you wish.

Your role in our team

• Manage and optimize data connectivity solutions such as wireless connections, internet connections, VPN, industrial mobile data connections and cloud connectivity
• Manage and oversee the implementation efforts of new data connectivity solutions, including hardware, software and configurations
• Monitor performance and identify opportunities for optimization
• Manage security measures for data transmission, including encryption and intrusion detection/prevention systems, to safeguard against unauthorized access and data breaches
• Manage and own remote gateways and remote connections to cloud and OT environments, as well as VPN and DNS services
• Oversee troubleshooting efforts and coordinate incident response activities to address data connectivity issues to minimize disruptions to business operations
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and all needed stakeholders closely tied to the data connectivity area
• Support the automation network (OT) management of Neste's refineries
• Support Neste remote office network setups and daily operations 

The best combination to succeed in this role

• 5+ years of solid work experience in management of Data Connectivity area 
• Proficiency in network security principles and practices, including encryption, authentication and intrusion detection/prevention systems
• Experience in working with multiple vendors and stakeholders
• A desire to learn, adapt and develop both your skills and technical solutions
• Service management experience
• Fluent English
