We are looking for experienced meat cutters for seasonal work in Pietarsaari.
Responsibilities
Meat cutters work, for example, in slaughterhouses or sausage factories, in cutting rooms and trimming departments.
The tasks include cutting and portioning carcasses for various uses. The work is very physical and repetitive, and most of it is done manually.
Applicants are expected to have previous experience in industrial meat cutting as well as good physical condition.
The work is performed independently on the production line as part of a larger team. The factory processes beef and pork.
Work is carried out from Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week. Employment starts in April 2026 and continues until the end of September.
We expect you to have:
- Fluent skills in Finnish, English or Swedish
- Minimum age of 18
- Previous work experience in industrial meat cutting and handling meat products
- Ability to follow hygiene and safety instructions
- Good manual skills and accuracy in your work
- Willingness to work morning shifts and possibly also evening shifts
- If you are not a Finnish or EU citizen, you must have an unrestricted or food
industry process worker work permit.
