Mechanical Engineering Technician

Job description
Interpretation of Drawings and Technical Documentation
- Read, interpret, and apply mechanical engineering drawings, schematics, bills of materials (BOMs), tolerances, and technical specifications to accurately manufacture, assemble, and install mechanical components and systems.

Mechanical Assembly Operations
- Perform complex mechanical assembly tasks using appropriate tools and procedures, including fitting, fastening, alignment, and integration of components in accordance with design requirements and safety standards.
- Assemble both standard and non-standard/customized mechanical equipment.

Precision Adjustment and Functional Debugging
- Fine-tune and adjust mechanical systems to achieve required accuracy, performance, and reliability.
- Diagnose mechanical and functional issues, identify root causes, and implement effective corrective actions during assembly and commissioning phases.

Quality Control and Technical Documentation
- Inspect and verify assembled components and systems to ensure compliance with quality, safety, and engineering standards.
- Record inspection results, complete technical and commissioning reports, and maintain accurate, traceable documentation.

Requirements
- 5+ years of proven experience in mechanical assembly, equipment installation or maintenance.
- Experience in assembling customized mechanical equipment of multifunction grinders, and cone dryer systems.
- Ability to read and understand mechanical drawings and assembly instructions.
- Familiarity with mechanical tools, assembly equipment and basic commissioning procedures.
- Awareness of workplace safety and quality standards.
- Fluency in English and Chinese (Mandarin) is required, as the role involves regular professional communication in Chinese and coordination with R&D teams and manufacturing facilities.
- Hands-on working attitude and attention to detail.
