HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE AND WHAT YOU WILL LEARN
- Lead the development of standards-based solutions and advanced audio software for smartphone OS, enhancing user experience on smartphones and AR glasses.
- Design and implement innovative standard reference implementations and demo concepts across multiple devices to showcase cutting-edge audio capabilities in standards.
- Conduct collaborative research and development projects with a focus on audio signal processing methodologies.
- Contribute to audio standardization initiatives, collaborating with industry partners to shape future audio technology.
- Create and patent new intellectual property that drives advancements in audio standards and applications.
- Experiment with real device implementations, providing hands-on testing to validate audio concepts and standards.
- Collaborate closely with a world-class audio research team, exchanging ideas and fostering an innovative work environment.
- Utilize systematic approaches to ensure high-quality software development and testing processes for audio solutions.
KEY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Strong understanding of audio signal processing technology, with knowledge in audio ML and AI
- Proficient in software development using GitLab/GitHub CI/CD in an agile environment
- Experience working with hardware devices and related operating systems, including smartphones and headphones
- Master’s degree in Signal Processing, Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Experience on IP creation
Nice-To-Have:
- Skills in Android app development (Java, Kotlin) with iOS development knowledge (Swift) as a bonus
- Experience developing software within the Android Multimedia stack, understanding iOS multimedia stack is a bonus
- User experience and UI software development skills for quick concepting and UX experiments
- Basic skills in Unity app development
- Familiarity with automated UI test frameworks for Android app UI interaction testing
- Experience in audio standardization
