We are looking for a highly motivated and forward-thinking Process Quality Manager to join our growing Quality team in Vantaa.

RESPONSIBILITIES
As Process Quality Manager, you will be leading a Process Quality team. Together with the industry’s top experts, your task will be to take the wafering line’s quality and process reproducibility to a completely new level. Your basis for success is to direct the team’s focus on operations that are important for each customer and company and to pursue goals systematically as a team.
As Process Quality Manager, your responsibility is to focus on industrial quality control and development as well as to improve process reliability, which is demanding, yet educational. Okmetic’s customers are international semiconductor giants whose high technology and quality demands spar the company and its employees to become world-class specialists.
You do not need to have work experience from the semiconductor industry; it’s enough that you have good engineer-level experience from chemical, process, electrical or mechanical engineering and a genuine interest in a leadership role. Leadership experience is a clear benefit for this role.
As Process Quality Manager, you need to have the ability to handle complex matters and think creatively. When the root cause of a deviation has been detected, the specialist team still needs to come up with a smart, efficient and high-quality solution to fix it.
Difficult problems will never be solved without investing enough time and resources for those. Development work cannot be the responsibility of an individual engineer — the most important development targets demand extensive resources and, in some cases, even a virtual team to solve the problem. To succeed in quality initiatives, you need determination, enthusiasm and co-operation.
