The team you'll be part of is our Technology Development team.

Your skills and experience

Join our innovative team at Hycamite as a Research Metallurgist where you will engage in cutting-edge research and development, acting as a link between our R&D team and our Customer Sample Facility. You will be focusing on continuous technology advancements and operational improvements in industrial settings. Your expertise will be crucial in enhancing our catalyst performance for our production.

Primary responsibilities

Contribute to the development and optimization of catalysts for industrial scale operations.
Develop and refine Hycamite's core metallurgical processes.
Lead and conduct energy and mass transfer studies for our process.
Drive the optimization of calcination and reduction processes.

Job requirements
You have:

Qualifications: Master's degree or higher in Metallurgy, Materials Science, or a related field.
Experience: 5 to 10 years of experience in metallurgical research and development, preferably involving both laboratory and industrial applications.
Good knowledge of physical and chemical behaviour of metals.
Experience with analytical and metallurgical equipment.
Problem-solving skills and innovative thinking.
Good communication and teamwork abilities.
