Are you a Retail Solutions Trainee and a Game Changer?

Are you curious about how IT supports real-world business operations and eager to learn how systems, data, and people come together in a fast-moving environment? This is your chance to join our Retail IT team for the summer and gain hands-on experience supporting critical systems behind our retail and energy operations, with some Nordic-level collaboration.

In this role, you’ll work closely with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and experienced colleagues to ensure smooth day-to-day operations while contributing to development initiatives across our Retail and EV landscape.

Responsibilities

How you’ll help drive the change

• Retail IT operations: support day-to-day operations of retail and energy site IT systems, ensuring reliability and continuity in business-critical environments

• Incident and service coordination: assist in handling incidents and service requests, working with internal teams and external suppliers

• Testing and validation: help test and validate new software releases before production rollout

• Stakeholder collaboration: gather business needs from internal stakeholders and help translate them into clear requirements for IT and vendors

• Data and documentation: document recurring issues, support data-related tasks, and contribute to improving processes and transparency

• Project support: participate in development initiatives and smaller projects, building understanding of how IT solutions are delivered in practice

What you bring to the team

We’re looking for a curious and proactive team player who is eager to learn and grow. To thrive in this role, you:

• Take initiative and are motivated to solve problems, even when the path forward isn’t fully defined

• Are curious and willing to learn — you don’t stop at the first obstacle

• Communicate clearly and work well with others across different teams and functions

• Have an interest in IT, business operations, or data (background in IT, business, engineering or similar is beneficial)

• Understand the importance of good documentation and structured ways of working

• Are comfortable working both independently and as part of a team

• Have good communication skills in Finnish and English; Swedish is a plus but not required

• It’s an extra spark if you also have:

• Experience with service management tools or ticketing systems

• Basic understanding of IT systems, integrations, or data flows

• Exposure to retail, energy, or operational environments

• Any hands-on project, coursework, or personal initiative related to IT or business systems
