KONE Purchasing is a global organization of purchasing and supplier management experts responsible for direct and indirect materials and services sourcing.
We are now looking for a
Summer Trainee, Purchasing
to support our procurement team in daily sourcing and purchasing activities and to gain hands-on experience in a global business environment. This position is located in Hyvinkää, Finland.
Main responsibilities:
- Support purchasing and sourcing activities across different categories
- Assist with supplier communication, data analysis, and reporting
- Help maintain purchasing data and documentation
- Participate in process improvement and development initiatives
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders across functions
What we are looking for?:
- A student in the latter part of their studies in business, economics, supply chain, engineering, or a related field
- Interest in purchasing, supply chain, or procurement
- Good analytical skills and attention to detail
- Proactive, curious, and eager-to-learn mindset
- Clear communication skills.
- Fluent English and Finnish, other languages are an asset.
