We are now looking to fill the role of SW Specialist, Embedded Linux to play a key role in designing, implementing, optimizing and maintaining Linux-based embedded systems in our product portfolio. Convenient location for the job is Oulu Finland.
What you’ll do
As a SW Specialist, Embedded Linux, you will design, implement, optimize and maintain Linux-based embedded systems in our product portfolio. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including architects, product management, and embedded SW engineers, to deliver high-quality, efficient, and secure embedded products. You'll share modern SW development expertise, promote best practices, and bring an end-to-end perspective to improving our products and workflows.
What you’ll bring

10+ years of experience in embedded software development, with a strong focus on Linux-based systems

Proven expertise in designing, implementing, and optimizing embedded Linux solutions

Previous experience on the lead developer role or similar
-
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
-
Experience with embedded system security features and best practices
-
Ability to analyze product requirements and translate them into technical solutions
-
Hands-on experience with debugging and performance optimization in embedded environments
-
Familiarity with industry standards and regulations for embedded products
-
Experience in developing POCs when needed
-
Fluency in English, both spoken and written
-
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
