We are now looking for a Technical Product Owner for a permanent position in our team in Espoo. You will join a small, agile R&D team developing a cloud service for industrial analytical instruments. Our IoT platform enables instruments to upload data and diagnostics, which customers access via web and mobile applications. Internally, we maintain diagnostic and configuration tools. We are now expanding our team to strengthen software testing, quality assurance and requirements management.
Every team member gets to influence our technology choices and ways of working. In addition to the software team, you will collaborate with experienced hardware designers, scientists and product managers. Our products also use fascinating technology such as X-rays and lasers.
In this role you will be responsible for:
- Translating customer and internal stakeholder input into clear, actionable requirements
- Organizing implementation work based on priorities set by product management
- Maintaining traceability between requirements, implementation, and testing
- Building and maintaining end-to-end automated tests for web, mobile, and cloud components
- Improving development and quality practices with the team
This role is well‑suited for someone with a software testing background who wants to broaden their responsibilities and develop into a technical product owner position.
The person we are looking for has:
- Strong understanding of web and mobile application testing, APIs, and cloud-based systems
- Familiarity with requirements management and best practices
- Proven experience in test automation (Robot Framework experience is a plus)
- A desire and drive to grow as a technical product owner
- Ability to work independently in a small team as well as communicate and network effectively
