We are now looking for a Trainee, Accounts Payable to join our Plywood finance team.
About the role
As a Trainee, Accounts Payable, you will be part of a skilled finance team and gain hands‑on experience in end-to-end purchase invoice processing and accounts payable activities. You will work closely with experienced colleagues and contribute to real business tasks. Your work will also support the creation of a standalone business model for future Plywood operations.
What you will do
In this role, you will deliver compliant, accurate and efficient invoice handling and accounts payable services for Plywood. Your responsibilities include:
- Processing and coding purchase invoices
- Tasks related to maintaining accounts payable
- Communication with suppliers and internal end‑users, and responding to inquiries
Who you are
- You have Bachelor's degree or higher in accounting or finance, or studies in the final stages, with 1-2 years of relevant experience considered beneficial
- You have some previous experience in accounts payable, accounting or similar financial administration tasks
- Experience with SAP or Basware P2P systems is considered an advantage
- You have strong Excel skills and good command of other Microsoft Office tools
- You are proactive, analytical and adaptable, with a solution-oriented way of working - a strong team player
- You have good communication skills
- You are fluent in Finnish and English, additional language skills are an asset
