We’re now looking for an Accountant to join our Group finance team for a 6-month fixed term, supporting core accounting operations while the team is engaged in a system implementation process. This Helsinki-based role offers hands-on experience in a global AI-driven company with the possibility to extend the contract depending on business needs.
YOUR ROLE
Key responsibilities
- Collaborate with outsourced accounting partners on accounting entries, reconciliations, and month‑end close
- Review balance sheet reconciliations and support month‑end and group reporting timelines
- Prepare and process payments in line with defined approval matrices and internal controls
- Own AP and TE processes from system administration perspective, including user access, approval hierarchies, and process configuration, while operational processing is handled by the outsourced partner
- Act as the internal point of contact for AP and travel expense (TE) processes, supporting employees, managers, and stakeholders with guidance on invoice handling, approvals, and process-related questions
What we expect from you
- Relevant bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
- Around 2–4 years of experience in an accounting role
- Good understanding of Finnish accounting principles
- Interest in working in a technology‑driven business
- Positive “can‑do” mindset, punctuality and structured working style
- Good Excel skills and experience with ERP systems (NetSuite is a plus)
- Fluent English
